Gates Pass is Open and can be used to get to the TT start

The McCain Loop Road is a spectacular 3.0 mile TT course with good pavement. It starts out with gentle rollers leading to a brutal 5% climb followed by rollers and a 6% grunt to the finish. The TT course can be windy at times, but many use TT bikes if they are comfortable climbing in them. The course will be closed to traffic. Registration and parking will take place at the south parking lot of Old Tucson, 1.0 miles from McCain Loop turnoff. Absolutely no race parking is allowed on the course or in the nearby Gilbert Ray Campground. All riders must transport themselves 1.0 miles from the check-in at Old Tucson to the start via bike or get dropped off near McCain Loop Rd. Due to severe space limitations, riders will be NOT be allowed to park their team vehicles anywhere near the TT start or finish-parking is reserved for officials and press only. Riders or teams parking their cars in these areas will be ticketed and /or towed. No parking will be allowed in the adjacent Gilbert Ray campground unless you are actually camping there.
